"Titikopatitza" is a currently in development walking simulator with puzzle and simple platform game. Started for a 2nd year University project, I choose to rework on this project for Audio Design Practice. But also mostly to finish a game that people and I like to play! Follow the development through the Blog section!
As a modern solo explorer, travelling the Yucatan Peninsula jungle, you will discover an old Maya city. All materials is inspired by historical elements, the aim is to create a simple artistic and educational piece by the way of teaching a part of Maya culture with element like Geographic places of the empire, the architecture, the writing and literature, the religion, the science (Mathematics, Physic and astronomy) and technics and other arts (like mastering of painting, jewellery, fresco or sculpture). The simulation do not present a reality as I know I couldn’t recreate a perfect representation of it, but at least it’ll be a good approach to introduce the Maya civilization to someone who doesn’t know about it (so accessible for a 7/8 years old child) with some specific aspects of this culture.
